Hopefully I can get my boat out and overhaul the starboard engine. 6000+ hrs on that motor is pretty good, hopefully I'll get another 6000 out of the rebuild.

The season is winding down and soon the salmon will be gone but the steelies will be in full force. Mono slide divers set 12-45 back with green glow spoons, spoons with orange, and spoons with powder blue. Flate line rapalas or bodybaits are a good choice. Light blue rotators and flies will also work. Just remember- lake trout close in october- stay shallower than 90 ft and you should miss them. Many steelhead can be caught in 40 ft of water.
